Custody:

Education

Parents with joint custody should make decisions about education together.

This can include:

  • the school
  • the curriculum
  • transportation to and from school
  • the costs of the school and transportation
  • extra curricular activities
  • school trips (abroad)

If parents have different thougts, feelings and expectations about their child’s capacities, talents and dreams, this can lead to discussion.

It is advisable to write down in the parenting plan how the choise for daycare or school will be made and how parents will communicate with each other during this process, if they will visit schools together (with the child) or not, etcetera.

International schools can have a lot of advantages for your child. You can read more about this on www.world-schools.com.
